SEASIDE SILHOUETTES 12 photographic dialogues between Var, bretagne and the Pays Basque

A book about the sea, but above all about us: how it transforms us, unites us, or separates us.

"The sea is a mirror. It reflects our bodies, our postures, our ways of confronting it or surrendering to it."

After SILHOUETTES, where I explored the invisible cycle of life, I am launching a new, bold and poetic photographic project. 24 photos in pure color, taken between 2016 and 2026, which capture the essence of seaside emotions: the body facing the sea, the pleasures of the beach, the inhabitants of the shores.

Project presentation

The concept:

12 visual dialogues between geographically distant scenes, which nevertheless respond to each other like reflections. An exploration of the contrasts between the Var, la Bretagne and the Pays Basque.

The artistic approach:

No poses. No staging. Only the patience of the observer, the grace of the silhouettes, and the magic of the contrasts: tanning versus swimming, solitude versus community, rest versus action.
